Hancock to hold Public Hearing on proposed ordinances, budget May 19

HANCOCK -- The City of Hancock will hold a Public Hearing concerning two proposed ordinances at 7:30 p.m. tonight, May 19, in the Council Chambers at City Hall. The ordinances are as follows:
1. Proposed Ordinance #275 "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING RULES AND REGULATIONS ON FEEDING BIRDS AND WATERFOWL"

2. Proposed Ordinance #276 "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING RULES AND REGULATIONS ON DOG RESTRAINT AND DOG DEFECATING."

The Hearing will also include Citizen comment on the proposed 2010/2011 Budget FYE 6-30-2011.

A City Council Work Session will be held at 6:30 p.m. The regular monthly meeting of the Council will follow the Public Hearing. The Council will consider the above three Public Hearing items during Old Business at the meeting.
