Black History Month continues with exhibit, presentation this week at Michigan Tech

HOUGHTON -- Black History Month celebrations continue this week, Feb. 8-12, at Michigan Tech with a Black Inventors and Entrepreneurs Exhibit at the J.R. Van Pelt and Opie Library. See the various inventions and businesses of legendary minorities throughout history.

A Food for the Soul Brown Bag Lunch at Noon on Wednesday, Feb. 10, will feature a presentation, "Beyond Color: Cultural Identity and Shared Experiences," by Thy Yang, director of Michigan Tech's International Programs and Services. The presentation will be in the Memorial Union Building (MUB) Alumni Lounge. These presentations are free and open to the public.
