Joy Harjo, U.S. Poet Laureate, to present poetry, conversation via Zoom from Rozsa Center March 28

HOUGHTON -- Michigan Tech's Rozsa Center will host Joy Harjo, United States Poet Laureate, in a free Zoom event at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 28.

Harjo, an internationally renowned performer and writer of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, will read a selection of poems from her acclaimed book, An American Sunrise. She will be joined by U.P. Poet Laureate M. Bartley Seigel for a conversation that centers her poetry and experience as the first Indigenous United States Poet Laureate.
