HOUGHTON -- The movie Weather Report, which deals with global warming, will be shown at 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 17, in the atrium and in Hesterberg Hall G002, in the Forestry Building.

The movie visits places where global warming is having an evident effect and talks with people who are the early victims of this environmental crisis.

A discussion, led by Department of Chemistry Chair Sarah Green will follow. Coffee, tea and dessert will be served.

The Green Film Festival is sponsored by the Michigan Tech Center for Water and Society, the Lake Superior Stewardship Initiative, the Keweenaw Unitarian Universalist Fellowship and the Keweenaw Land Trust.

This is the second film in the series. The third will be shown on March 17.
