HANCOCK -- There is still room in Summer Arts Camp, an exciting week of art activities and creative fun for youth entering 3rd through 6th grades. Week long sessions running Aug. 6-10 and Aug. 13-17 will give children the opportunity to learn drawing, printmaking, watercolor, creative movement, journaling, tie-dye, hand made books, field sketching and creative writing. New this year to Summer Arts Camp is a field trip to Paavola Wetlands Preserve where campers will learn to do field sketching. Hancock City Transit will transport campers to and from the site. Summer Arts Camp takes place at the Community Arts Center and provides youth with the opportunity to experience the joy of creative expression in a safe, supportive environment. To obtain more information or to register your child please call 482-2333.
