Room left in Keweenaw Krayons' "Homemade Fun Day" Aug. 7
MOHAWK -- There is room left in the "Homemade Fun Day", to be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at the Mohawk School. The project, part of the "My Creative Family" series hosted by Keweenaw Krayons, will involve making play dough, bubbles, soap crayons, sidewalk chalk and slime.Sponsored in part by Superior Child Abuse Prevention Network, "My Creative Family" is meant to promote positive family interaction and stress relief through creativity. There is no charge but donations are always welcome. "Family" = a youth and other members of the family -- parents, guardians, aunts, uncles, siblings, etc. Youth under six are asked to come with adult or older teen. Class size limited.
